The Peterson’s project has had the chance to interview people who spent their lives down docks and worked in the smokehouses and fish merchants of Grimsby.
Memories are a powerful thing. When we share our memories with others, we take them on a journey to look at the world from a new point of view.
Whilst restoration works can bring Peterson’s Smokehouse and Building 89 back to life in a new and exciting way, by collecting memories of these buildings we can help to preserve the spirit of what came before. Through these memories we can create a snapshot in time and celebrate the incredible heritage of Grimsby.
