There are different ways to join the Kasbah community.
Incentives such as reduced rent or rent-free periods, and grants for exterior works might persuade you to take on your own building, while all tenants benefit from secure access and 24 hour security patrols. See your options below.

Building 89, Wharncliffe Road (formerly Fred’s Fish)
This stately three storey Victorian building has been completely renovated, and offers almost 110 square metres of office accommodation over the two upper floors, and 54 square metres retail/cafe space on the ground floor, with a separate entrance.

Smokehouses

Grimsby’s unique gourmet product can only be made in a traditional smokehouse.

Peterson’s on Henderson Street
Completely renovated by the Great Grimsby Ice Factory Trust, this historic Grade II smokehouse has 10 chimneys, a lift, and ground floor office with kitchenette.

Community spaces

Spaces for community groups, events, presentations and other community activities are available at Creative Start CIC. The Engine Room, The Great Escape Room and The Movie Room are all unique spaces available to rent on an hourly or daily basis.

Grant Funding

If you’re taking on a building that needs a bit of TLC – grant funding may be available

Partnerships Schemes in Conservation Areas (PSiCA) Repair Grants
PSiCA is a partnership between North East Lincolnshire Council, Historic England and landowner Associated British Ports (ABP). It can support current and future tenants with building repairs and the reinstatement of lost historic features.
