‘Distant Water – Stories from Grimsby’s Fishing Fleet’ includes memories of the Trawler Owners’ Club on Fish Dock Road, and accounts of selling fish on the Pontoon.

The Kasbah
Recollections from Peterson’s Smokehouse on Grimsby Docks. A variety of memories based on what life working in the smokehouse was like.

Grimsby Fishing Heritage Centre
A variety of memories recorded from the 1990s, which includes oral histories of various areas relating to fishing and including life on the docks. There is content on the ‘Lumpers yard’ and ‘back yard area’ which cover what the lumpers did day to day as well as home life and going to work on the docks.
